So what will we be doing you ask?

One thing we stress to our participants is that the experience is very much what you make of it. You are free to do as much or as little as you want. Hands-on participation is encouraged and we love questions! If you prefer to watch that is ok with us too.

An evening with Women On Wheels provide clean and tidy workshops, information sheets, a light supper and a range of experts to talk you through the program.

We split you into 5 groups (let us know if you wish to be in the same group as your friend or sister etc) and at each of the five stations, you will be taken through particular aspects of the Women On Wheels workshop.

Learn about your car. From changing a tyre, a bumper to bumper underview of a car, an explanation of cooling and fuel, a run down of your oil and electrical system, through to air conditioning and emergency situations.

By the end of the night, we aim to have you empowered with the kind of knowledge that enables you to speak with service staff, manage easy maintenance and understand more about your own vehicle. We also encourage you to ask questions and most importantly to enjoy yourselves.

Usually you can expect to finish an evening with us at about 9.30pm. Upon completion of one of the Women On Wheels workshops you will also be sent a completion certificate.

Please Note : Participants in the Women On Wheels workshops, must be aged 15 and over.
